From what I saw is the authors, the company (l e z h i n as an example), and the government I think. I don't remember, but it's in Korean.
Haaaa.. I have been here (mangago) since the beginning, and if I got a dollar everytime someone came claiming that the site will be shutting down, I'm telling you, I would be rich by now. Authors, magazines, editorial companies etc etc, had threatened to close the site for many years, and yet here we are. So, stop worrying and posting theories making ppl panicked, you are just attracting more attention to the site. Just stick to your readings ┑(￣Д ￣)┍

I really like this story that’s why I was happy that another group picked it up but toxic/celestial kinda attacked them and said they want to upload it and not drop this story so mangago took the other teams chapter down. I can tell by a comment (which has a lot of proof) that celestial even uses something like google translate and the other group (quack quack scans) not and still talk about qq scans dirty saying they use Google translate even though someone in the comments proved that qq scans translation is right. I think someone really should stop celestial

I don’t know if anyone has been informed about the situation with Toxic Scans but if you haven’t please take a look at them in Google or even on this site.
A group called Toxic Scans took on the project Dear Door project, one that is very popular on here. It’s been announced that it will be getting a English translation in 2021 so that’s why all the good scanalation have been either dropping it or leaving it alone. However, Toxic Scans took it ove but as their name exemplifies, they were highly toxic. A PowerPoint came out (like 25 slides) of evidence that they were harassing not only fans of the story but authors. They were illegally asking for money and were sending death threats to people. They are racist, homophobic, transphobic, and other phobic you can think of while also making fun of anorexia (the pictures were horrible).
So, this information was shared and spread across this site and others where people were flagging all the chapters they did for any story. It got so big that they admitted to what they did while also disappearing and changing their name to Celestrial Spirits. However, it didn’t stop there. They went on to harass the authors of both Dead Door and Painter of the Night while also exposing this website. So now they are risking this website and possibly might cause a lawsuit or for it to be shutdown.
This group is disgusting and is trying to run away and even lie to you all that they are a “new team”. It’s bullshit because they are acting the same way as they did when they were Toxic Scans. This group is now doing this story and as much as I want to read it, I don’t want to in any way support them. So, I plead with you to flag chapter 5 and any other chapters they do to remove them. If you now any other manga, webtoon, or anything they are a part of flag it or report it. They don’t get to risk this site, harass authors and take people’s money and get away with it.
