Crown Prince Alberu is similar to Cale/Kim Rok Soo. There interactions is usually filled with complements like “the bright star of the Roan kingdom”. They also scheme together.

As for why, their relationship is just gold all throughout the novel. The more the story unravels the more they understand and rely on each other's, and I always look forward to their interactions it's so entertaining I swear.
They grow to have an incredible bond and bromance hahahaha they are both schemers but they get along very well and their banter becomes kinda flirty and very funny :D
I'm looking forward to see his highness the shining star that will brighten our beloved Roan Kingdom. As well as his loyal subject that also shine so bright that I'm not afraid the Roan Kingdom will ever face the darkness.
