No I dont think so, she just cant tell him hes pretty. It'll be difficult to raise his confidence without saying that but being there and accepting him for who he is will definitely help!
I'm not saying that his insecurities will vanish in an instant it's just trying is better than doing nothing
Even if she can't tell him that he's gorgeous, she should still lift his confidence a little i think cuz him being insecure hurts me :(((
