If you're following the Disney version they just liked the contrast. The original story doesn't even say what the looked like, the step mother and sisters cut off parts of their feet, had their eyes plucked out by ravens, and had to dance in hot iron shoes until the day they died. So somehow I don't think it really matters what any of them look like, since this is nothing like the original story.

Gotta love the grim fairy tails. Most fairy tails are gruesome because they were meant to teach a lesson.

the prince in cinderella had black hair ik its not the same but cinderella and the prince should look the same in my opinion
