k so there are 2 main groups, which are rulers (the good guys) and monarchs (bad guys) at the end its confirmed that Jin woo is like the new shadow monarch king, and there are 7 other monarchs who all want to destroy the universe. So in order to stop them, he drinks from this cup of reincarnation (from the good guys) so that he is able to go up against the monarchs and defeat them. That whole war lasts 27 years in the gate time, but 2 years in the real world and when the good guys win in the end, the whole world forgets about the dungeons and hunters and stuff like that, other than jin woo and 3 other people, who are, the S-rank girl (who ends up being his wife), Woo Jin-Cheul (one of the guys from the Hunter association that now shares some memory with Jin woo idk how), his dad, and the hunter association president right hand man. Also Jin woo and the girl have a son, who also knows about the past and the hunters and all that and has the same power of the Monarchs as jin-woo because he is his successor to the throne. i also read that the three of them still like ride around on the dragon for fun sometimes idk
.. well now I'm dissatisfied.
I felt the same way when I read the spoilers and it deterred me from finishing the novel but it's not so bad when you actually read it. A lot gets lost in translation when it's cut and dry "here's what happens"
Okay so for anyone who read the spoiler....
Trust me its not that bad. I remember feeling slightly disappointing after reading spoilers too but once I read the novel it made sense and wasn't that bad of an ending.
Also the road from where we are now to the end of the series is still quite long (I'm predicting atleast 2-3 more seasons). Alot of bad ass stuff happens and even if you disagree with the end (which some people still do) it not so bad to the point where it takes away from the overall greatness of the series. Also Jinwoo had specific reasons for doing what he did which make more sense when you find them out.
so i just heard and read spoilers on the ending of the novel and...idk how to feel about it like??
anyways if anyone else is interested in how it ends ill explain it
