I dropped since Nera changed her eye color and pretended to be the Duke's long lost child (like wtf is she a cockroach?!) She found a picture of Iris's mom and the Duke together and realized Iris is their daughter. And the Duke's wife knows this but also pairs up with Nera, letting her bully Iris. She eventually kidnaps Iris and threatens Giovanni with "their baby" (I think it might not be his) so that he will kill Iris but he struggles with this. And the duchess somehow believes that the Duke will still forgive her someday because she let Iris live until now. Meanwhile, the Duke is a complete idiot who just sits there to look pretty I guess?? He simply doesn't do anything. Nera doesn't like anything like him or Iris's mom which is totally sus especially since he already saw Iris (splitting image of her mom + red eyes) I'm so done with Nera...
