Imagine being in your early twenties, just starting your career and your enjoying your relationship with someone you are in love with. and your ex just pops up one day with a ten year old child, and tells the child is yours,and also I am dying so take care of him, just like that,See none of you can tell me that you would very happily welcome that child,


Too much Disney has blinded yall,
It's not easy to raise a child, talk less of a rebellious child who doesn't even realize how much your parents are sacrificing for your happiness and comfort,
Joel loves his son,
Yes he was overbearing
Immature, and a bit stupid with they way he handled issues involving his son but he isn't a bad father, not a deadbeat one

One thing I have learnt about parent-child relationships is that if you're really close with your parents then y'all probably argue more often than parents/kids who aren't close.
