The main couple had a wonky relationship in high school, but eventually they came around and confessed to each other after the uke realized his misunderstanding of the seme's personality and accepting his own feelings toward him despite his bad high school experience. Eventually the uke and seme stopped being work partners, the seme went back to HR. The uke got a new partner, a kouhai who ended up liking the seme's older brother. The last chapter is a bit of a fast forward montage of the uke and seme's child they have later. That's pretty much it. One of the best yaoi's I've ever read. The Alphas have brains and are decent human beings, and the dynamics between all the characters is nice, like proper people living life without extensive drama bc they all use their brains.

Yh many people were confused, which surprised me actually, and some reread it to understand better. Meanwhile I was swooning through the whole manga because the characters were pretty normal . The Uke kept being reluctant about liking the seme bc he had been bullied when he was younger and the relationship between the uke and seme in high school was the seme trying to protect him from bullies/shitty alphas who'd be down with raping him, but there were also times where the seme wasn't nice so the uke misunderstood why the seme kept being around him. He thought the seme just wanted to bully him, but the seme's personality can just be extra cut throat when he's guarded or shy.
Ty ty!! I now understand this story a lot better. Though I definitely adored the characters already but knowing the story better definitely helps more. <3
