I believe that the male lead character likes shoujo manga so much so he fantasizes recreating the scenes in real life. I also remember that he purposely dropped his ID card (?) for the girl he bumped on to to pick up but ends up in the hands of his friend who actually knows that he likes shoujo manga so much.
