In the flashback of Elios there's someone behind him when Emma stabbed him. Maybe he was protecting someone from Emma? And also this is just my theory but, I think that Emma clung onto the idea of Elios being her savior, her guardian angel of sorts, and that was what kept her going in her life and kept her from being miserable. But then, maybe he started to break that image of being a savior and she lost it and killed him to preserve his image as her hero. And in order to cope with his absence and her guilt, she developed split personalities. I think Yohan is going to break the law for her even though by doing so he becomes a hypocrite, he knew that Emma was the culprit but when he went into the investigation room he pointed out a random guy and left hurriedly to stop and talk to Emma at the hospital. If he wanted to, he could've brought the police to her and arrest her on the spot.
