This is the world of yaoi so you know it doesn't end there. Both of them will go their separate ways and try to fall in love with other people, but they'll end up realizing that the only person they can truly love is each other. 5 to 10 years will pass and one day, while walking down the street, they'll stumble across each other. Then they'll go to some bar to talk about their past, get drunk and then they'll have crazy sex right before they confess their feelings to each other....blah blah blah the end.
