In my personal opinion, this is a really, really good story. The art is superb as well.

I personally hate sexual harassment so much that I can't read most yaois, but I don't get that vibe from this toon. These divine beasts are pure and innocent through and through. They are physically incapable of have any evil intentions at all. Thus, it doesn't make me feel uncomfortable.
People were judging it based on what they think would happen, not based on what actually happened. That's a problem with many series (especially because many people who "read" the raws misinterpret them since they can't actually read them) that's why it's probably the best to not judge an ongoing series based on the comments.
