Not really, he didn’t even wait for it to be confirmed that Anthy poisoned Jen. Even when it was confirmed that it wasn’t her, he didn’t bat an eye. I think the only reason we forgave him was because of the love he held for Diana and how well he cared for his daughter even though he didn’t show it ლ(´ڡ`ლ)

I've been wondering for a while, but why are people so easy to forgive someone like Claude, but then people are immediately complaining or hating on other characters like Ruve from The Abandoned Empress (and perhaps the father from this story, although we haven't seen his reasons for treating his daughter like trash yet). Like even though they both did shitty things in the past, somehow they're able to forgive one but not the other. ╮(￣▽￣)╭ Not gonna delve more into it since it's kinda the wrong story lol
