Well tbh since I'm in my 20s I like the males lol since they're around my age but other than that I do hate the age gap thing it's really gross
I mean yeah we all had a tiny crush on someone older in our teens but that was about it, a crush, we understood that it was meaningless
I’m also in my 20s and ngl I do think that the ML is attractive but i wish the MC would’ve been someone near his age or his exact age...BUT yes you’re right when I was a teen I had crushes on ppl older but that was IT!! It never amounted to anything and after a while it’d just kind of disappear and I’m like “ok moving on”
Yea I always wish our MC ends up with someone her age in these stories even if I really like the male lead
Also yeah like on my mind I understood that it was meaningless to have a crush and I wouldn't even think further than that but I guess there would be still girls who would misinterpret a males kindness and turn their feelings of gratitude and attachment into love which could be true but it doesn't sound healthy to move past these feeling
I wonder if it's a major issue or something in Japan, there are way too many stories like this

ok but why is it that when I find a cute Shoujo it mostly ends up with the same trope where the MC is around 16 and the ML is in his mid 20s or even late....like wtf....I didn’t even read it bUT WHYyyyYyYy
