Actually now I'm not sure anymore. I vaguely remember that she's like an illegitimate child with some maid/prostitute or smth. But then again, I've read so many of these villainess stories, they might be blending. Someone confirm~
It's mentioned in the beginning that she's an illegitimate daughter. That makes her and the orange guy half-siblings.
I could be wrong, but i thought it was revealed when she found out he planned to have her killed all along that she isn't his daughter? I read a shit ton of these though, so idk.
That might be a different one. In this one, she thought she was just an adopted daughter until just before her death when her stepmother revealed that she was actually his illegitimate daughter. She was murdered by men who wore the uniform of her father's knights so she thought her father was the one responsible. However, due to some info from her fiance, she now suspects that the emperor was responsible and he was just pinning the blame on her father. It really looks like her father has not been planning to kill her.
