Thanks, that's very useful info.
At first I thought 'Xi' meaned something special or the way he pronounced, caused them blushed that much. ( ̄∇ ̄")
Looks back, everything suddenly changes so much; ZZX turns to be a sweet romantic guy from the one who kept smacking. Now they look like a lovey-dovey couple already. (≧∀≦)

I read the Chinese ver. of the new chapter, and the word Xi is 希. It doesn't really hold any meaning if it's just a single word like this. but this Xi is usually paired with another word Wang 望, giving it the meaning "hope".
Calling my friend by only one word in her name makes me super embarrassed, I can probably imagine how Jian and Xi both felt since THEY LIKE EACH OTHER MUAHAHAHA

I know, right? The Chinese comments for every update of 19 days are so freaking many, I am curious to know what they all say, mainly because I want to know if people have gone through the same emotional ride I had gone through when I had read that darned latest chapter! Imagine my frustration when a bubble just pops up on weibo saying that I should log in to see more comment. So frustrating. But patience is often rewarding.
See, we Chinese usually have 2 or 3 words in our names. The first word is always the surname, the 2nd and 3rd is our name. Usually, when you're calling out to a friend, you leave out the surname, yeah? We usually call a friend by the 2 words at the back, and Jian called Xi by the last word only. It's quite a close/intimate thing to do. It took me 5 years with my bestfriend before I could call her by the last word of her name.
