Have you ever heard of the guideline for how young it is socially acceptable to date that goes halve the age and then add seven? This means our leading man, who is for all practical purposes 36, a minimum age of 25. However our leading lady is only 23.

My parents are 12 years apart so I don't really see the issue here.
I don't know why the age difference is a big deal for some. My friends' guys are way older than them and I don't see them odd at all.
