Um, Asami usually keeps Akihito out of the 'play/safe' room, but I am sure since Asami keeps gus in that room it would stand to reason he'd keep some of his clothes - in case he needed to flee) so when would Aki have time to put clothes in there? And "if your house is on fire, you generally don't try to run into a room of flames to get clothes' (same with assassins swarming all over your house) - plus there is the added benefit here of titillating the fans with a half naked Aki ... fan service.

Not so much that Akihito is kept out of the safe room (he knows how to get into it) but that he simply doesn't think in the same terms as Asami. He isn't planning for home invasion and what to do if it happens while one is naked.
For Asami's part, I'm sure he think's Akihito is covered up just fine.
