My thoughts

I am afraid of how this story will develop. The title clearly speaks of the husband of the god of pain and, I can assume, that this husband is River. However, Khaol did what he did and now we have him unhappy and River and Heil happy. For me, if the story ended with River and Heil together it would be wonderful. However, the title does not leave me alone. I have a feeling that something sad is going to happen to Heil and River is going to have feelings for Khaol again. It is a feeling I have.
