Same. I also wanted an angsty reason for why uke does those things, but I guess he's just a natural airhead. I mean he got pulled by the rapist dude when he could've refused and punched him, but I forgive him since he's a dumbass lmao
This scene doesn't really work for the story as-written.
The point was to portray Sousuke as actually having a spine, even though he's normally a blubbering mess. I can appreciate that sentiment, since soooo many bottoms/ukes are portrayed in BL as being spineless crybabies who are effectively useless outside of their roles as sexholes. But any number of other circumstances more tonally appropriate to the story could've been used to convey this sentiment.
Also, would Mitsuhiko really have let things get that far, with the guy balls-deep in him? I don't know.... Mitsuhiko seems like the type that would've applied fist-to-face and walked away. And the guy assaulting him seemed just like a weeny office nerd too, idk. These random unnamed rapist plotlines really stretch believability in pretty much every story they're in.
This rape scene also doesn't really work for emotional impact since it features Mitsuhiko rather that Sousuke. Mitsuhiko just lets things roll off of him, and as a sex worker, is probably more able to compartmentalize sex with people he's not interested in than someone like Sousuke. A rape scene involving Sousuke would've had much more emotional impact (not that I wanted to see this). As written it's both tonally inappropriate for the story and completely half-arsed.
It was really just small a blight in an otherwise really nice story of a seke-positive couple who actually care about each other's feelings and desires.

He's really just dumb. I mean he has a good body and tace, like with what the uke said, he could've become a model or actor or smth, but instead he went to pooorn! Idk, it's like he has no brain at all lmao. He wasn't angsty or emotional about it, he's just meh when he got raped or gangraped or whateva. Like really if you're smart, you won't let people take advantage of you. He just has air in his brains lmao.

I’m positive that if something similar would’ve happened to Sousuke he would’ve beat the rapists ass (not that I wish that bc Sousuke is my lil baby). Like if they wanted to shout Sousuke being manly or being able to defend his boo thang and himself then it could’ve been an almost, like him being attacked not not the actual penetration or assault of it. Maybe just the dude pestering him. It just really disappointed me tbh
