k so at some point she gets pregnant with her ex husbands baby but the guy makes her have an abortion. Eventually he does fall in love with her but she never loves him back and is just set on her revenge on him for ruining her and everyones lives. In the end her and her husband get back together, and he shoots himself and dies. But she also ends up pregnant with his baby, but her husband convinces her to keep the fetus (idek why tho like- this is the fetus of the man who not only raped and ruined her life, but like also is the reason you dont have a finger???) anyways yeah, in the end they do get back together and are happy with each other

yeah for the whole revenge thing idk i feel like he deserved worse. i’m gonna read the novel to understand more but yeah. i guess the revenge that she did get was that he wanted her and that was the one thing he could never get, and then he realized how much he messed up the one person who he loves life so out of guilt i guess he killed himself?
