It did. But yes so many things would have been different. And Wei Ying was falling asleep, he was losing consciousness because his wounds got infected and he was feverish.

okay so. if u've read the novel and got to the last chapter, u know which one im talking about, right after the guanyin temple. its very obvious that lan zhan has a bitting kink,,,,,do y'all think it started here?
also, it breaks my heart to see lan zhan act this way. not because i think he's being mean, he's not, it's just he has so many emotions towards one insanely smart but dense man who acts out in ways that confuse lan zhan so much he doesn't know what to do with them. and if maybe, just maybe lan zhan had made a move here, things would've been so fucking different. or if wei ying hadn't fallen asleep they wouldn't have ended up how they did. and that hurts man.
