I've been trynna hold it back for a while now but...

I can't anymore I'm done. To be honest I really don't like the turn of events that the manga took in regards to this scene. In the book when MC met the master of the Ghost Mountain she WAS kinda flirty but, she didn't go as far as throwing ML aside. It might be a little petty of me to get caught up on such a small thing but that upset me. When MC made the 10 year promise with ML she told him if she where to hear or see that he had any woman around him at all period that he could just forget about her and not bother to wait cause she'd be done with him period. Because truth be told although MC has a flirty personality she's actually very loyal. Loyalty is one of her core values and she is extremely intolerant to betrayal but, it feels like the manga is undermining that aspect of her character and that just doesn't sit right with me. Like, when Wanyan Qianhua (owner of the Ghost Mountain) asked MC what she should do with the people who gave up her secrets to keep their lives in the manga she says she doesn't want people who can't let go of the past following her but, in the novel she says she's never been merciful to anyone who betrayed her and then told Wanyan Qianhua she could do as she pleased with them. Honestly I feel like the manga is somewhat changing MC's personality. When I first read MC's reaction to the whole haunted mountain it felt very mixed up to me like the situation was supposed to be tense and serious but MC was carrying on in a silly and out of character manner in an attempt to lighten up the intensity of the scene. However, after little white got snatched by Ghost Mountain lady and when she went for him and met Wanyan Qianhua MC's continued out of character behavior put me off. It gave me this impression that MC was a wishy washy type of person, however, I read the book so I know that's not the case which only upsets me even more cause it feels misleading.
