The thing is what these characters have cannot be even called fucked up love, its more like a twisted obsession even damaged people know that like we see glasses guy realize at the end of chapter 7

I see a lot of comments about not trusting the characters in this manga, but my view of most of the character's in this and most of her other manga is damaged people, who found love or company or kindship in their parners and is doing what they can to retain it, or in other words, if I'm a f@cked up person, living in a f@cked up world, I get a f@cked up love, do the math is all there.
