I would've actually prefered him to either not be Touya or make it harder for use to understand.
It was obvious for so long and the reveal -forgetting the fact that the fandom spoiled it before the eng chap came out- was not that great?
It was lacking something in my opinion and also took too long since we knew who he was from his first appearance...
I wanted them to deal with this in other ways, I believe Endeavor -although he isn't the best father- deserved to be redeemed since his family had finally started to move on with him...
I didn't enjoy this reveal at all....
To be honest... I'm a little bit disappointed with Horikoshi here. The reveal was trully well-presented, but he left so many clues that it wasn't surprising at all. I would've rathered he made Dabi have some bullshit fake backstory at least, so him being the only big-shot villain without a backstory wouldn't had basically confirmed his real identity. What I did like was Dabi doing that broadcast. I didn't expect him to absolutely demolish Endeavor's career and reputation like that, so it was a nice little surprise even though I'm not among the people that hate Endeavor and I actually wanted him to have a redeemal arc. Oh well. Looking forward to them waltzing together in hell, I guess...
