imp I don't like how unpredictably naive she is. It isn't even about her desperation to survive. It's about her lack of comprehending basic social attitudes. Like why would she automatically think it's okay to go up to the wife of her lover and ask to be "sisters"? Or lie about being Heinley's secret writer? Or even manipulate situations so it's always Navier who gets the side glance? I also find her actions very counterproductive. She wants to survive and draw away from poverty but she's attracting too much attention which is why Viscount Roteschu was able to manipulate her in the first place. Because she exposed herself therefore her weaknesses were revealed. Also, I can never brush away this feeling that she's just playing dumb. Those are the types that I personally cannot stand.
i don't understand why people hate Rashta that much since people who are put in the abyss became desperate to get away from it with all they got no matter the mean
and considering her past she was in a pretty horrible situation she got enslaved then raped then got pregnant and they stole her kid and abused her quite a lot since her body was full of marks and she received no form of education so she end up pretty dumb so it's understandable why she is so desperate to get away from her life is it right ? no but the world isn't black and white and there was many people like her in the history who no one can blame for doing the things they did (for example there was a story about a slave who got brought by the royal family she climbed the ranks by deceiving and killing many people and manipulating the king until she became the queen and killed all her rivals 's children then banished them then killed the king so she can be sure no one can kick her and put her kid to be the king)
after all she is but a victim of slavery because rather than Rashta the emperor is the true bad guy of this story he got everything yet he cheated on his wife he made slavery legal in his country , he is doing such a bad job at managing his country which resulted in many corrupted nobles
