There’s no drama build up. It just quickly kills a bunch of cherished characters (that you don’t even get to properly know and love before they’re offed), starts a war, and then ends the war within a handful of chapters. Now they’re going to quickly kiss and make up after a handful of misunderstandings.
I just don’t think you get to properly feel the tension build up or the relief.
Any novel readers who are also pissed at how rushed the manhua feels compared to the novel?
