Natalie June 7, 2015 5:42 am

Konnichiwa minna-san! I just created my account here in mangago meaning I'm new here. (●'◡'●)ノ Could anyone suggest me some manga? Shoujo, shounen, shounen-ai and yaoi is fine by me too. And is manga read from left right to left or left to right? Well it's my first time reading it that's why. (▰˘◡˘▰)

    hello and welcome ヾ(☆▽☆)
mangas are normally read from right to left
(there are exceptions though, they are called "manwha")

if you`re not used to yaoi yet i suggest to start with the lighter shonen-ai:

    http://www.mangago.zone/read-manga/slow_starter_ichikawa_kei/
    http://www.mangago.zone/read-manga/stop_bullying_me/

and then go over to yaoi^^

    manga/yume_musubi_koi_musubi/

for shoujo i recommend my shoujo favorites
    http://www.mangago.zone/home/mangalist/6516/

here a few things that might be useful as a newbie

to keep an overall view i recommend once you read a manga you mark it as "already read"
and mangas that are not completed yet as "now reading" (because then you will get a notification if a new chapter is updated)

if you find a list of someone else interesting, you can click on "follow this list," then you will find this list on your own profile

you can recommend lists you like to others, if you click on "recommend" and then on "submit"

you can keep track of your own questions or questions of others on your profile
you can bookmark any particular page you like by clicking the "bookmark it" link at the top of that page, then it will be saved to your profile

hope you have a nice start here ヾ(❀╹◡╹)ノ~

Welcome! Manga is read from right to left and manhwa left to right.

Your first yaoi should be good, so i recommend Himegoto Asobi. By the way, I'm a fujoshi so once again, welcome!

    Welcome to Mangago~ ヾ(☆▽☆)
Most mangas are read right to left. Manhwas are left to right. Usually, if they are different, it will indicate which way to read it. But I think right to left is your best bet! c: I will suggest a few mangas that I really enjoy and are fairly popular! (No particular order)

    2. http://www.mangago.zone/read-manga/hapi_mari/

Hopefully you like some of the ones I suggested, if you have any questions, feel free to ask me~ ٩(๑❛ᴗ❛๑)۶

!!?? You've never read manga before. How come you know all specific terms; manga, Shoujo, shounen, shounen-ai and yaoi???!!! (● ̄(エ) ̄●)
Some words I just knew them not long ago.

This person could have been an anime fan first (like I was) and found the terms there - That's how I learned them. *winks*

    @ misekatte

It can be a legitimate user or it might be the same troll from yesterday and the day before. We just have to wait and see.

I've already noticed that there are four accounts created by the same person, I think that the same person has another two accounts which I am not aware of (judging by the number of the thumbs up he/she received yesterday). Hence it is not impossible for him/ her to create a seventh account or even an eighth and a ninth. Like I said, we just have to wait and see.

The best thing we can do right now, to protect unaware users, is to blow the whistle when something seems off.

About the specific terms, I heard it from my friends. All of my friends love to read this thing called manga (I didn't even know what it is and didn't even bother to ask) But one time I heard them talking about these terms -shoujo, shounen, shounen-ai and yaoi. I was curios so I asked them what they're talking about. They told me that it was the genre of the manga they're currently reading. They keep on talking about mangas and because of curiosity, I also tried to read manga. I asked them what site they're reading mangas and told me two sites:mangafox and mangago. Unfortunately, mangafox isn't working in my computer and I tried to refresh it so many times but no luck. So I went to this site. I only created this account because I want to read manga and if ever I have questions, I may ask the people here so that they can help me. That's all. And about this George thing, I don't understand what you are saying. I don't even know him. I'm just new here you know. Also, please don't call me a troll, it's because I'm kinda offended. I have no bad intentions here. I only want to read manga.

I agree with you and I think that an eighth account has been created, check the newest questions. I think that our own "summer 2015 troll" is trying to learn from her mistakes and that whenever we criticize her, she works on refining the introduction she uses based on those mistakes and from mimicking the tone and questions of legitimate fans. An intentional troll just tries to blend in so that in the future she becomes able to disrupt the forum's harmony either with fictional stories or with fanning comments' "wars".

Of course the best way to win against a troll is by ignoring her but I am worried about the juniors. When the so-called George posted her first topic, unaware users offered to befriend her and even one of the users left her email just in case the so-called George wanted to contact her. Hence imagine the havoc which a troll can create if she is given private information or if she were to identify a given user's activity on social networks based on that email or any other private information she is given.
If we can't keep trolls out from our communities, we might as well learn more about them and about online privacy and apply "blow the whistle" strategy.

Let me get this straight, you are a troll. Am I right?
