Actually no, skin colour in eygpt and the rest of the middle east can range from fair, light brown, tan and black. Black and tan are the majority of skin colour so people think we only have dark skin from long ago. Long ago, some parts of african countries people were fair skinned so when they started immigrating to other countries, the skin colour started to have more variety. Like my extended family, we range from dark skin, light brown and even a few fair skin.
You are actually wrong, during this time period that followed the ancient gods of Egypt, most of the kings and queens of Egypt were dark skinned people, as so were it's inhabitants. it wasn't until the introduction of Islam happen after the fall of Egypt that middle eastern people were the main population and colonization with Rome and the middle east did it become more fair skinned.
