i think the child sealed in his spiritual field isn't the separate soul of the spring god, but his emotions and memories. so in a way, ye li's soul is the incomplete soul of li zhu, once he got his sealed memories and emotions back, his soul became complete and he remembered everything from his past life with ah yan!
