I think the thing is they didn’t grow up together and they literally don’t know each other so yeah I don’t think of them as siblings at all lol

but technically they are still siblings it doesn't matter if they hadn't spend that much time together ( it just sounds really weird and like a good excuse for them to be ok to be together ) .

it's also weird as each of their parents married together had a child, their brother ,which shared blood with ML and FL , and now those two are together? imagine in the shoes of that kid if you had a similar situation .me personally It would be weird . ( or even worse put yourself in the parents shoes)

In my opinion I think it would've been more interesting to keep them as siblings and show how their relationship as a FAMILY changes and overcome obstacles together while both find respective lovers ( having like the overprotective brother and a smart older sister that cares for her younger brother)

by the way I am not trying to start a fight or anything I'm just voicing my opinion as I see a lot people bringing in the excuse of " they haven't spend time together at all as siblings" or something like that and think that means they are not siblings . it's stupid. I don't get it. THEY ARE STILL SIBLINGS.

I agree that it would have been better if they just grew as a family. I feel like people think its easier to write romance than write a good familial bond bc I mean in romance you can explain almost anything with just saying feelings. The reason I don’t think of them as siblings is bc they didn’t grow up together and had literally no bond together. What I don’t understand is, isn’t it the same with childhood friends turned lovers? I mean in some cases childhood friends grow up as siblings do and I feel like it wouldn’t change anything if one day their parents got together. Yeah I get it but in the case of childhood friends there is no relationship between their family that would connect them as one it's just that they lived their lives together ( I get what you mean but it's still different) if their parents got together then it would be another story as then they would become step siblings and then it would be the same thing as here.
