Muslims with turbans exist and I don't feel they were really portrayed them in a negative way.
The only thing I will say, it's a romantic comic. So artistic license is taken with hair and etc. I have seen this done with all manner of races, religions, position in government etc. He is drawn to be gorgeous
I totally agree when they referred to rules of their religion as "annoying" that really irked me.
I don't like it when the author potray the muslim man as a grumbler and hot temper person who think other people other than their religion is pagan and easily get mad when people doesn't know their special diet.
Sorry we are sometimes sensitive regarding matter like this T^T, cus sometimes people that portraying us don't do us justice. Almost always portrayed as intolerant and restricted as heck, etc. So we were worried people will misunderstood against muslim again.. (￣∇￣")

no, I made an edit and they temporarily disappeared, they are now tho! :) I believe that discussion is a very good way to talk about controversial things as long as both sides aren't disrespectful so I would never delete the replies
I get that the author wanted to represent a different religion but man, this just hurt me to read as a 'Muslim'(i was raised Muslim but I'm not 'exactly' Muslim anymore) the turban I guess could just be an artistic choice but in reality, the hair shouldn't be out and I too would be offended if i was a literal royalty . And why would you choose a big religion if you were going to be negative about it. This was honestly so hard for me to read.....(⊙…⊙ )
edit: please stop saying that there was nothing negative. If a person from the community says it was negative then its negative. The only problem i had with this chapter was that it was uncomfertable for me to read. i felt villified and thats personal and no one can debate that do please dont. I would like for any replies to this to be civil and kind please
