I guess, at a stretch anyway, you could say that because he was representing his country and they theirs that not ‘acknowledging’ his religion in this way was like insulting a whole country. That it couldn’t just be taken as a lack of knowledge, and if he was to say it’s fine it’s be like he was saying that could disregard his faith.

The author probably could have made him seem more angry calm than excitable calm though, that would have made him seem more reasonable

We shall not eat but at at least tell them bring the meat slaughtered according to our Islamic ways and in this way no one would be insulted
the Muslim guy came to ask a favor of them and then he make a fuss over food, that absolutely wrong, cuz if we "Muslims" were in his shoes we won't eat it and that's it, maybe if it was the opposite that the crown prince invited him then i would say yes I completely understand, but again it's the plot actually, the author wanted it that way so Mari solve the proplem, and maybe because the Muslim guy thought that they should know abt his religion, anyway it's small mistakes, and I'm saying this to the poeple who thought he is a bad guy, or Muslims is bad,etc.
But we all can see that the author made an effort, and I wish she doesn't say anything bad about us in the next chapters.
