Imo Itadori as an mc lacks charm and depth. I feel like the supporting characters and even the antagonists stole the show. I want to see more of his growth but the mangaka should build his character more. Overall, I like the story but Itadori needs more work. Well, this is just my opinion. ( ̄∇ ̄")

I totally agree. I kinda don’t give a fuck about him. Instead, I find myself enjoying Goto, Megumi and Nobara. They’re characters and back stories are great

Yes. Even the antagonists are more interesting. That's kinda sad tho. This manga has so much potential. (〜 ̄△ ̄)〜

fr tho, most Yuji fans are only into him when Sukuna takes over--that is to say, they're mostly Sukuna stans

Yup. It feels like he is being overshadowed by other supporting characters and they're stealing the spotlight from him.

im pretty sure thats the point, as he was some random kid that ate sukunas fingers lol....i for one like how boring he is cause it gives the other characters a chance to shine

highboy Gojo feels more like the MC to me since he has the special abilities and a backstory we have yet to fully know. But perhaps (shonen) MCs nowadays don't have to be the most interesting character

I agree. Yuji is actually shaping to be a very typical shounen MC. I usually invest in MC. Like the moment I like the plot of the manga, I would side up and support MC completely. However, I find that in this manga, I don't care about him that much. I just want to fast-forward all his story and move to other characters like Sukuna, Gojo, Megumi ( my bois, I hope he will have a new dog curse soon) and Nanami. TBH, if they switch MC and killed off Yuji, I don't think I would feel as sad as Nanami death.
