2. Nihonggo doesn't have gender based pronouns so this is not on the mangaka but more on the translation. I don't have raw so I can't be sure if the uke is addressing themselves with ore/boku or watashi, which what the translators can based the pronoun they used.
I personally have two problems with this, the art style isn't bad, in fact I think it's pretty nice. But how they draw the uke is very much alike to that of a minor, and the guy is still using (he/him) pronouns instead of (she/her) pronouns when it states that she wants to be a girl is kind of transphobic imo ( ̄へ ̄)
