No he won't destroy them, he is after Lotte (aka Eve), he was the weird guy that couldn't start the game at the beginning.
He's a total psycho, I am a little lazy because the story is a little long AND i read the novels long time ago do yeah..
In the world of the Otome game there was 2 god and one of them was the sunglasses guy.
The other one was a woman and they were a "couple".
They created Adam & Eve and both of them fall in love together u know.
But this mf (sunglasses guy) got like, jealous of the love between those two and wanted Eve to love him too, the other God didn't want to (even Eve didn't like him).
So he abandoned the other god to become human to try to seduce Eve, but because she only loved Adam he got mad jealous and killed him. (Adam)
Eve was sad but even after Adam death she didn't want to love the God so he decided to make her soul reincarnate as Lotte (I think it's her name?? Idk Lisotte cousin).
And make him go to Japan + make their world into an otome game.
The other God that loved (?) him turned crazy by his abandon which make her turn into the Witch (idk the name lol) and because she thought that Lisotte situation was the same as her (The same Eve stealing their lover) well she decide to take over Lisotte to make her revenge.
But yeah hippydi hoppidi because this Lisotte was loved and not misunderstood by her fiance, her soul was saved and the pure energy she received by her friend transmitted to the Witch too (so the witch was purified and make her turn into the Godness again, and because the peuple still prayed for her even after her turning evil which helped her a lot)
Ash yes the plan of this mf was to tranmigrate the Heroine soul into a body already on Japan (idk I don't remember this part well but I think he wanted her to literally possess an already living body, and with the faith scent of Eve of Kobayashi, I think that if he succeeded his plan, the heroine would take over Kobayashi body, which is really creepy).
And Bart (I think it's his name???) well he was the old Adam, which explain why they love each other :D
Idk if it was understandable and I'm sorry if not but English isn't my first language + the fact that my memories are a little blurry, I think the explanation part took 1 whole chapter of the novel..

But it was in reality Eve holding on Adam..
