I hate parents like that. If they reason to you that it's a sin, tell them that it wasn't even mentioned in the bible and even the pope recognizes the lgbtq+ people as equal and precious. I hope your mom becomes healthy again, tell her i said "you're the only one who has incurable disease. get it treated" to her.
Why treat something that doesn't need a cure? LGBTQ+ isn't a sickness.

Even if its not mentioned on the Bible it does not mean that God can accept as He created Eve for Adam. HOWEVER I agree with you we should be supportive of the LGBTQ people its not their fault for loving the same gender

my mom is muslim, and islam does consider homosexuality a sin, but i dont think that is a valid reason to be intolerant of others' identities. :<
