Basically it's older omega x alpha. The alpha saves the omega from some betas in an alley and the omega realises they are soulmates. They are both "defects" in a way, because the omega had been marked but he got surgery to remove it and so he experiences unstable heats. The alpha for some reason can't sense pheromones at all (yet to be explained). The omega is the type to go for one night stands and doesn't want anything to do with the alpha after having sex once, but the alpha keeps appearing in front of him.
