Why a uke? Why not a seme?

Personally, I'd see him as a seme (if there weren't his wife). Even with someone who would only be a seme like Satonaka, I wouldn't imagine the father as a uke.

But I agree with you, the father is really hot. We can easily picture Shunpei like his father several years later. No wonder Fumi fell for him: he's already gorgeous but he'll be even sexier when he's older :)
