she's basically been on her own with no one to confide in (yesbthe pronce is sweet, but he's a stranger and someone she's being made to marry for political reasons) since they got to this kingdom.

I agree , she still feels like she has to do everything herself being the only heir. Although he does tell her not to worry, its not enough.
Hopefully they can expand on their relationship and bonding. Shes need her father to lean on and know that he loves her. And having anxiety and pressure of being a princess defo doesn't help , I wanna hug her so bad.
