In chapters 20-21 Chung attempts to reject the top, and the top becomes angry, tells him he doesn’t have a choice/he doesn’t get a say, and. Well. Rapes him. There’s no other way around it. The top forced Chung to have sex with him because he was angry that Chung tried to turn him down.
I’m guessing the author isn’t going to address that the top has literally viewed Chung as his property and not as an individual on more than one occasion, since that’s unfortunately common in these stories.
But in the first place the serpent thing that chung his bird in cage of him... So i think its normal that he think that chung is his property and the property that no one can lay hand of his....

having sex — it’s a possible reaction to the trauma, especially considering Chung is a CSA survivor.
The issue is . The dialogue. When being told Chung was raped and marked all over, the response is “please don’t provoke me” and then, even worse, followed with, “I want to be gentle, so..”
If you don’t get what he’s saying here: Chung’s comment made the top feel more aggressive and want to be rough with Chung. As in, the whole, reclaiming property sort of shit. Chung was raped by his brother and he has the urge to be aggressive and take back what Chung ‘gave’ to his brother - implying he has to
fight back the urge when Chung makes that comment.
It makes it sound like he does not see Chung as a person, but his property. Which is really gross.
