We have same analysis :) but when it comes to this type of stories we will only get the real picture once they lay down all their past and feelings.
But one thing is for sure both lead characters starts to have feelings towards each other they just don't realize it yet.
Which i like the most 'read between the lines' are the most interesting stories for me.

lmao i’m also a tad bit confused about this story but i’ll try to lay out what i know.
In the present, Choi MoonHyuk (seme) is being interrogated for the possible murder of Seo YeonJin (uke). MH confesses that he killed YJ, but the lack of evidence that MH can provide has the police doubting him.
YJ bought MH from an illegal boxing club after falling in love with him at first sight. MH was sold there after his former boss, Woo ChaGang (man with two sleeve tattoos), died. From MH’s memories we can infer that CG’s death was sort of planned, and that MH sensed that. It may be that Jeongmu, the politician and also the one CG was having sex with while MH was watching, played a part in CG’s death.
The reason why YJ was saying that the conversation was miserable was because MH is seeing YJ as CG, and is asking CG not to leave him and that instead, he will go to take his place. This pretty much tells us that MH didn’t treat CG as merely a boss but instead loved him.
Meanwhile, YJ asks his friend, Jeong WooHyun, to investigate CG more. WH was the man who invited YJ to the underground party where YJ bought MH. It seems that WH actually has feelings for YJ, but since they were friends he didn’t go for it, and now that he realizes that YJ was being topped by MH, he asks YJ sex as compensation for looking into CG.
As for Yeonjin’s past, (this is the part i’m not so sure about) it seems like his mother commited suicide since his father had someone else, hence his mom saying “take your father’s love for yourself”. But since his mom asked him to be more like his father, YJ is now having an affair doing exactly just that. I guess this is where YJ mocking his father comes to play. Since he’s having an affair to be more like his father and not the other way around.
YJ’s wife, as we can see is a bad ass btch who needs no man. She was telling YJ that he doesn’t have conscience as he’s only using MH to get back to his father, when clearly MH is a good person. But I think that only she and YJ thinks this way, and that in reality YJ actually fell hard for MH, that’s why he out here being jealous about a dead man, but yeah YJ just won’t admit it. As for who Shin Moran is i actually don’t know lmao.
