imagine you adopted a child and they start liking you romantically, which is already pretty weird but that's how these stories always go, and then instead of putting distance btn yourselves u get together with them and start feeling jealous when they're with other girls/boys or however these adult characters find out they're also in love
even if u get together as adults its still a child u cared for
kind of like what woody allen did
not quite. woody allen molested his kid when she was like 7?? they became a couple for some fucked up reason later on when she became of legal age. This parent+child romance stories are all pretty fucked up but at least they tend to wait until the "child" is grown up. woody allen didn't--plus the kid he hooked up with wasn't even the only one of his that he molested (his wife divorced him because she found out he "played" with their kids).
so was I. he molested his current wife when she was still being raised as his daughter. he didn't lay his hands on only one of Mia Farrow's kids but two (that were confirmed) at least. He married Soon-Yi when she was of age (i presume) because their "relationship" had already been exposed & the media was probably going nuts about it at the time.
He literally married Mia Farrow's adopted daughter that he himself had helped raise/look after for like 10 years. woody allen's a pretty f*cked up guy.
yea it's not really basic trivia celebrity knowledge. the only reason i know about it is because my mom went on a rant about how she always thought his movies were terrible, that he was a talentless hack, that only got famous because of his relationship with Mia Farrow, and that he's a reaaaaally fucked up guy. We debated the subject for awhile then researched it (mostly to figure out who won the debate) & yeah:

Mia Farrow took him to court when she found out that he molested one of her younger daughters (Dylan Farrow) while HE was dating Mia Farrow. they stopped persecuting the guy through legal means because 1-the only evidence they had was testimony from the child he molested + the nursemaid who found Dylan wandering about without any underwear on (since I guess the nursemaid had dressed her that day?) and 2-because the media was hounding the entire family about what went on and the whole ordeal was further damaging to the victim-daughter's mental health. & even though they dropped the lawsuit he STILL tried to claim legal guardianship to get Dylan under his care. Apparently Dylan never got over that incident & is still affected by it today.
& despite the incident having happened to one of her adopted siblings, Soon-Yi still hooked up with Woody Allen years later & sided with him against almost the entirety of her adoptive family (Mia Farrow & her kids). Soon-Yi is even quoted by one of Mia Farrows sons as being a blatant liar, and making up incidents to tell the media that never actually happened or were greatly exaggerated. Basically everyone in the family (aside from Woody Allen & Soon-Yi) sided with Mia Farrow & Dylan or took a neutral stance on the issue.
From what I know Moses Farrow is on the side of Woody Allen and against Mia Farrow accusations.

It is a very messed up family situation.
Of course, I am not a fan of Woody Allen. Everyone with common sense can see that there sth cleary wrong/disgusting about him.

I have a hard time remembering normal people's names. I couldn't be bothered to remember a celebrity's name if I haven't heard it 20 times &/or seen at least 3 of their movies, or 7 songs (if they're singers/song artists). The only reason I can remember "woody allen" is because me & my mom argued about him for a good 3 hours at LEAST. I don't think I've ever seen any of his movies or heard anything in particular about him until then. I now know how badly he fucked up Mia Farrow's family so thoroughly though so...educational argument I guess.
i hate these kind of stories where someone raises their romantic interest
like that maid story or a webtoon where she rose her boyfriend from an egg
its just gross
