Oh unfortunately, neither the thumbs up nor the thumbs down (annoying) vote can be cancelled, but don't worry about it. A topic or a comment gets hidden only after receiving 5 annoying votes so with 1 or even 4, it doesn't matter.

Nah.. I'm not feeling bad for my topic. It's okay. Just kind of funny that you can do to that to yourself. That also made me finally notice that you can't take it back.
I'm just worried that if those accidents happens too much to me or other people too - that it's rude to someone else.

if you look around, you'll see many comments about apologizing for accidentally hitting the 'annoying' button on someone else's comments. I see it almost everytime I came to this site LOL. it's not that rare ╮(￣▽￣)╭.
I saw many people apologized for mistaking vote, which's another nice manners to cancel the vote.
I'm glad that you concern about it. I ever found someone vote thumb down to 'a grateful topic to someone' which's rude to 2 person in 1 vote.
I have couple of times voted that by accident while using laptop pad or taking mouse on my hand while pushing the click button at the same movement - cursor had been top of the word.
Last one happened only once thou and to my own post.. What are the odds? Heh.
Anyway.. Does anyone have any idea how to cancel it?
