that's not why people are attacking them, (i copied and pasted from another thread) People have been linking twitter and discord screenshots that prove the scanlation group was harassing the actual authors and fans and was also making really shitty comments, the main issue is that by doing this they were drawing attention to this highly illegal website which is constantly at risk of being shut down. People were even saying that they linked the creator of painter of the night to the site which is stupid because you're putting everything at risk (that's what people said at least), especially since there was recently a shutdown scare when the author of pian pian literally threatened to sue and get the site taken down after they found out, other authors could just as easily sue. so its not the posting illegally so much as it is them literally telling the creator about it when the creators hold the power to take the whole site down.

these are all LEZHIN authors, the same as pian pian, theyre from arguably one of the most wealthy and established platforms and also the most notorious for going after people, so they CAN and they WILL sue
People are mad because the translation is so bad that it's basically unreadable
And they contacted the author. They admit it. They thought they could get their consent for translating it if they promised her money.
I can send ss of them talking to the author. They tried to make some kind of deal with her which ended up exposing their existence. That then caused people who didn’t like the scans group (due to the behavior in their discords/how they were responding to people who spoke out against them) to tell the author about what they were doing.

They really offered her $600 a month . Like thats a very low amount of many and then theyre not even an official company??? Why would she choose them over lezhin, a well known platform that will pay her more than that???
What these people here are falsely saying things that they have no clue about: mei,awwi, and okk. I guess they are hating on us and trying to blame it on the whole scanlation team over two person? lol.. wow and regarding those tweets between sunday and pluto. They said we harassed pluto but pluto was just asking if that sunday girl was harassed. and us exposing this website? We did talk to pluto about a deal and yes mei said it 600 per month.. That was it. She rejected it and didnt respond back to us. Pluto even tweeted about our interaction but NONE of them where we mentioned this website nor anything relating to this website. We even censored it on our ig.. And mei talking about "their discord" I think shes talking about the public discord WHICH ISNT OWNED BY TOXICSCANS.. WE DO NOT OWN THAT.. it is with the people that is in our team. We have no control over what they do personally. We will rethink about this situation regarding those two. We did not snitch out mangago AT ALL. These people just want to blame us over something we never did.. We are an illegal scantranslation team why would we go and expose ourselves and this website..? That doesn't make any sense.

You see this is the kind of logic you get from this scan group. I said they offered the author money to get her consent for translating it and then they respond by saying I'm making false accusations just to then immediately confirm that they were in fact offering the author money. That's why there isn't much of a question about whether this is true or not. They admit it it themselves.

guys you can't just attack a scan group for uploading??? this is one of the most popular ongoing manhwas on this site and you guys clearly enjoy it so I don't get why you people are so annoyed by them uploading this title??? it's confusing and why would a scan group talk to the original author?? like that makes no sense guys. try to calmly think this through no one in their right mind would do that and risk getting a whole website shut down. you guys get to read this for free I'm a part of a smaller manga scan group so idk much about manhwas but I do know a lot of time and effort goes into putting out this content for you guys so please be more thankful and aware of how much work goes into these.
