Well, it is possible, just uncommon. There are some 20 year olds who fall in love with 60 year olds or 80 year olds too.
Yes, sure. Still there is a game of power that could be dangerous. Just the amount of life the other person lived..... it can manipulate the younger in a lot of ways.
I'm sure it can work for some people. But in this manga, especially, the author portrayed the younger one as a very very very immature person. A child. So, I guess in this case the adult one should have done better and said "no"
But then: we would have no story. And I enjoyed the story. So lol

I enjoyed it. But I guess their relationship wouldn't work out in real life seeing how much of a kid the younger one was.... I'm pretty sure he was 20 y.o already but damn lol how can a 40 something fall in love with such a child lol
