I agree too. And that's because both ways of thinking aren't incompatibles. The possibilities that open when creating food/stories are infinite, and not one of them are wrong. It ultimately falls on the mood of the commensal and its prefference in tastes to judge it.
In my perspective, it actually depends on how the story is going. I don't mind romance like this when it was kinda 'implied' or maybe hinted early on that there will be romance. And a bit of romance would really fit the story. When I don't like romance is when the character is introduced as a solo player, or aloof, cold-hearted or uncaring like most characters in op genres. It just doesn't make sense to me when they suddenly dumb a character down because of a girl when he was clearly overpowered and uncaring before

That depends on the writer and his intent. also on how he portray his approach to that end. This reminds me of Thorfinn from Vinland Saga manga. I think is a good example of an action ML made pacifist and his transition to it.
A good manhwa is a good manhwa even if it has harem and cliche romance. Also, don't you think it's kind of sicking if it's action alone? No other genre? The romance plays as a breather for Art's chaotic life HAHA.Just my opinion tho
