Vinter may treat Penelope nice, but he always doubt her intention and even tried to test her if she was a good person or not. The test almost caused her to lose her life. It wasn’t until she unintentionally proved to him that she wasn't who he thought she was did he finally trust and believe her, however that cause her lose her trust in him. Like seriously, the stun he pulled on her was not cool.
And, only the crown prince was alway honest to he was to her and never doubted her unless it involved with life and death. Otherwise, he doesn't do two face to her like everyone else.
Am I the only one that loves Vinter? He is so underrated. Vinter is the only one that treats penelope in a good way and he is so cute in the novel.
My favorites are Vinter and then Callisto.
