Cain wants to dissappear from the humans life because he thinks if theyre together he will only brimg him harm. Hes so powerful now he doesnt need to go to hell to recharge so he doesnt need to interact with the human. He told the doctor to tell human that he left him because he didnt need him anymore so that the human wouldnt look for cain. The human now thinks cain doesnt want/need him so he left but cain will keep an eye out for him from a distance to keep him safe
