Reason I skimmed and got to the end was because of the rating. I started it a while back and stopped but it came up on my popular list. Unfortunately for me I thought it meant there was something to look forward to. Even with psychological works there's always consequences or a redemption arc or some indication that the author cares about the characters. if it was the stockholm direction it was not clear but kinda presumed?? I was not happy about the vagueness. Imo it would have been a better fucked up ending if one of them was aware of the damage caused despite them ending up together. when I finished it and found people happy they ended up together, (please check other comments because some people called it romantic) that added to my saltiness and because they are entitled to their opinion I decided to make my own post about it instead of going after them under their posts trying to make them change it.
I'm not happy with the ending. and I'm not happy some people thought it was cute or beautiful that they ended up together. the assault was swept under the rag and ??? then why was it so heavily included?? does it mean it was entertaining? (is that what I'm missing?) or just a means to an end? whichever it is, I was not happy about it. and I expressed that. If you're happy about it then why not find the posts that are happy about it and join them in solidarity? why are you seriously still here? People are allowed not to like things that you like.
